Some tables simply feel like an occasion. The Sunday in the Garden Mahjong Mat is one of them. Romantic, layered, and inspired by an elegant garden party, this artful mat transforms your Mahjong table into a dreamy chinoiserie garden filled with timeless details.
The fully illustrated outer border unfolds in soft watercolor tones of blush pink, sage green, and periwinkle blue. Graceful weeping willows trail over peaceful lily ponds, stone arched bridges cross the water, and blooming peonies and cherry blossoms surround charming pagodas tucked among the flowers.
Inside, a classic pink toile border repeats the garden scenes on a smaller, more intimate scale, creating beautiful depth around the playing area. A soft cream center keeps the game field light and refined, while a delicate ribbon-and-bow border and gold corner accents provide the perfect finishing touches.
Elegant enough for a beautifully styled home yet playful enough for weekly Mahj with friends, Sunday in the Garden is made for leisurely afternoons, garden parties, showers, and game nights that turn into dinner. In fact, it's so pretty you may want to leave it on the table long after the last tile has been put away.
