Fig Leaf + Sea Salt: Honoring the stylish port city of Porto-Vecchio, a natural harbor on the mountainous French island Corsica, this candle is a breath of fresh air. Ordered by the governor of Genoa in 1584, all landowners were required to plant a fig tree each year. With its exceptional sunny and dry climate, Corsica produces some of the highest quality figs in the Mediterranean.
Rosemary + Sage: Enliven your senses with our aromatic herb scent, Aix en Provence. This candle is a love note to our favorite Provencal town that sits at the base of the Sainte Victoire Mountain. Found in abundance, rosemary and sage grow wild on the local hills and fields. A favorite springtime activity in this region is a long weekend hike to pick up and stock up on these highly coveted herbs. Bring the fragrance of Cezanne’s muse, the sunny French countryside, into your kitchen.
Flower Market Lavender + Thyme: Imagine yourself strolling through a city square in the South of France when all the floral stands come out offering their fresh blooms. This springtime scent wafts through the air filling your senses with tranquility. With the freshness of thyme and the purity of lavender, all your stresses are immediately dissolved with this floral bouquet. Let this candle transport you to the charming villages of Provence while your surroundings are instantly transformed into a space of serenity.
Before Burning: Trim the candle wick to ¼ inch. By shortening the wick, you allow it to burn more slowly.
During Burning: Allow the entire surface to liquefy before extinguishing. The first time you burn your candle will always take longer than subsequent occasions.
After Burning: After blowing out the candle, re-center the wick to its original vertical position before the wax completely solidifies.
